You won't find them in pet stores though, and should find a good captive breeder if you want one for a pet.

Ummm i wouldn't think so....But you can check on the internet or at Petco or something or at a local Pet hospital. But where would you even get one? Would you like catch it? I believe you need a permit to keep a flying squirrel, LEGALLY in the US. That is for most exotic animals/rodents. So under that theory I would say check and ask about a permit. Hope I helped!
