Is it legal to keep a flying squirl in the U.S?

Yes, it is legal in to keep some types of flying squirrels in some states. Check the laws for your state by contacting your local fish and wildlife department.

You won't find them in pet stores though, and should find a good captive breeder if you want one for a pet.

Some types of flying squirrels have been breed in captivity for 100's of years and some people do think they make good pets.

Ummm i wouldn't think so....But you can check on the internet or at Petco or something or at a local Pet hospital. But where would you even get one? Would you like catch it? But i doubt its legal but you can try. Plus its a wild animal i think it would like it better in the wild.Is it legal to keep a flying squirl in the U.S?
I believe you need a permit to keep a flying squirrel, LEGALLY in the US. That is for most exotic animals/rodents. So under that theory I would say check and ask about a permit. Hope I helped!
im guessing yeah cuz here in GA they are in animal shelters and you can adopt them.
as long as you name him ';rocky'; the flying squirerl
Well maybe. You need to check to be be sure.
